As cliché as it sounds, the first thought that came to my mind after I received the offer was “dreams really do come true”.

I am honored to announce that I have been selected as one of the Bob Curry Fellowship recipients for 2025! I am excited to perform with an all BIPOC cast and to create beautiful, funny, silly, and impactful stories together. I am grateful to all my family and friends who have supported my art and believed in my comedy and stage dreams. I am confident that I will make pieces that represent my voice and perspective through this opportunity and program. I am ecstatic to work with directors Julia Morales and Evan Mills (also two of my favorite improvisers) who share my passion for uplifting BIPOC voices and diverse perspectives. I am optimistic and looking forward to the Bob Curry Showcase our mighty cast of 10 will write and perform in every Tuesday in February at The Second City Chicago (hope to see you there)! I want to document this journey and take you with me on all the ups and downs and everything in between. I promise I won’t let you down but guarantee I’ll make you smile. Come laugh with me.
