We Should Start A Podcast

We Should Start A Podcast is a diverse Chicago 2prov Comedy Team consisting of Karissa Cuffy and Maya Arroyo. The two put their unique spin on  improv and storytelling by incorporating a “podcast” segment at the beginning of each set to give them inspiration for the rest of their scenes. With their quirky personalities, diverse character work, and physical comedy, they leave audiences with side-splitting laughter and reality checks from two “bad bitches”. As Karissa and Maya say “They do it for the gals, the gays, and the theys!” Coached by Julia Morales.

Single Living

Single Living is a Chicago based, all black women improv team, formed in 2024, with a comedy style that takes you back to your favorite 90s sitcoms. Each set is an episode inspired by a suggestion of an event that has taken place in their world and what ensues after are character tableaus, charismatic introductions, and a monoscene with plot twists made for television. They’ll bring the hilarity and you’ll want to add the laugh track. Coached by Julia Morales.

Basketball Crush

Basketball Crush is a diverse female improv team, formed in 2023, that seamlessly blends musical theater and improv into a symphony of laughter, creativity, and harmonious spontaneity. Every Basketball Crush show is a one-of-a-kind journey into the unknown. The team draws inspiration from audience suggestions to craft a never-before-seen film, complete with characters, plot twists, and, of course, show-stopping musical numbers. From the opening notes to the final encore, every show is a musical slam dunk. Coached by Alex Bellisle.
